Two Baskets of Apples

Daniel and Rahul once went on a school trip to the Apple Orchard.
They played cricket and other ball games. They got sweaty and hungry.
The teachers served snacks in the lunch room of a neighbouring school.
Freshly picked red apples were served in two large baskets on a table.
Next to the first basket was a notice which said,
‘Take only one. God is watching.’
Daniel wanted to take two apples but when Rahul pointed out the notice, he took just one.
When they came to the second basket, Rahul pulled Daniel aside and whispered,
“You can take as many apples as you like from this basket because God is watching only the first basket.”
