The Lion and the Cows

Once upon a time, in a small village in India, a herd of cows grazed in the pasture.
The grass in the pasture was short and dry.
There was a jungle near the pasture.
The grass in the jungle was greener and fresher.
Sometimes, a lonely cow would wander into the jungle to graze.
A lion, who lived in that jungle, would hunt the cows that wandered into the jungle.
This went on for many days.
All the cows were frightened to go into the jungle.
One day, the cows held a meeting.
An old cow said,
“When we go to the jungle alone, the lion can easily hunt us. From now on, let’s go to the jungle together.”
The other cows liked this idea.
The next day, all the cows went into the jungle together in a herd.
When the lion came and roared at them, they all pointed their horns at him and chased him away.

Lesson: Unity is strength
